Career

Adv. Yakov Kohl practices in a wide variety of commercial and corporate fields, including handling complex litigation and representation before the civil and labor courts. Adv. Kohl is involved in representation of and provision of legal counsel to companies, non-profit entities, and public organizations.

Adv. Kohl provides legal counsel to a national infrastructure company in relation to their international tenders and procurement.

Adv. Kohl represented, together with other attorneys in the firm, the United States of America in a labor law claim, in which a precedential judgment was given by the National Labor Court regarding the immunity of a foreign state in certain circumstances from claims by employees (Labor Appeal 1127-10-14 United States of America vs. Andreh Bahbah (8.1.2016, published in Nevo)).

He studied law and philosophy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. While in law school he spent a semester at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. and interned at Epstein & Weil in New York. Yakov immigrated to Israel from Canada in 2001.

Yakov joined our legal team after completing his internship at the firm.
