Position

I am an associate with the firm’s Competition and Regulatory team. I specialise in the field of data protection law, advising clients on issues related to national and European Union data protection laws. I also assist local and international clients on intellectual property and state-regulated matters. As a member of the Startup sector group, I focus closely on development in this sector.

Career

Complex data protection legal matters. I have several years of experience in the field of data protection, especially related to compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Additionally, I advise on data protection compliance audits and other data security matters, and conduct training for organisations on data protection and related topics.

Tech business enthusiast. I dedicate my skills to advising companies providing innovative services and developing new technologies. The areas in which I specialise – data protection, intellectual property, commercial law – are inseparable from innovation and startups breaking through, so I am glad to have the opportunity to work with tech sector clients who create innovative solutions.

Focus on individual clients’ needs. Having worked both with Lithuanian unicorns and startups, I have a deep understanding of how varied a client’s needs might be. Advising technology and innovation market leaders helps me understand not only legal, but also technological trends. I always try to understand the specifics of each business, as I believe this allows the lawyer to be a business partner and provide advice that exactly meets the client’s needs.
