Dispute Resolution & Risk Management

As an associate with the firm’s Dispute Resolution & Risk Management team, I advise and represent clients at all stages of litigation and arbitration. I develop business-minded solutions to help clients make well-informed decisions, from the onset of a dispute to its resolution.

Dispute resolution. I assist senior colleagues in drafting procedural documents, conducting research, preparing memorandums and advising clients.

International perspective. I strive to acquire a broad international perspective on various legal issues, in order to be better positioned to assist our clients facing global issues. For example, in 2022, I participated in the Erasmus exchange programme at Utrecht University, where I delved into the subject of EU law and technology. In 2021, I successfully completed the CopyrightX course on US copyright law offered by Harvard Law School.

Business-minded advice. A profound understanding of industry sectors and markets, and a focus on the commercial objectives of our clients is instrumental in finding the most appropriate legal solutions in the fast-changing commercial environment. That’s why I regularly participate in numerous seminars, conferences and university courses on topics such as business, economics and finance. For example, in 2020 I completed an online course on financial markets organised by Yale University.

Constant academic development. I have participated in many national and regional moot court competitions, such as Pro et Contra and Sorainen Student Academy Moot Court. At the national Pro et Contra ‘21 competition my legal memorandum on corporate and shareholder disputes was recognised as the best legal memorandum. In 2020, I co-authored a research paper, “Armed drones: can civilians be protected?”, which was published by Vilnius University.
