Career

Burcu Boso is a partner who specialises in banking and finance transactions, in particular project and acquisition finance, refinancing, real estate and corporate financing, commodity finance, ship finance, restructurings and syndicated lending. Having worked at White & Case as a senior associate, at YazıcıLegal as a partner and then at CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang as a partner, Burcu has extensive experience in representing banks, financial institutions, sponsors and other transaction parties in local and international banking and finance transactions.

Burcu has a particular focus on Turkish foreign exchange regulations, structuring of funding methods, bank regulatory matters and PPPs. Burcu participated to the Public Private Partnership Working Group of the 11th Development Plan of the Republic of Turkey covering the period of 2019-2023.

Burcu has more than 17 years of experience and a deep know-how in restructuring methods as well as private sale of the assets of the borrowers under default. She also has a remarkable experience on advising banks and financial institutions in connection with potential defaults and remedies thereof.
