Career

Şahin Ardıyok is a partner and the Head of Competition and Antitrust Group. He advises multinational corporations and large Turkish conglomerates, associations and government institutions on PPP projects, administrative law, consumer law, competition law, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and energy regulations, competition strategies and anti-dumping matters. Having 15 years of experience on both sides of the competition and regulation enforcement, he has unparalleled skills in competition law and regulatory activities of state institutions. Şahin has taken part in both defence and investigation teams, designed litigation strategies and presented arguments in hearings before Turkish Competition Authority. He was also involved in numerous cases related to competition law and regulations before Administrative Courts and Appeal Courts. Prior to joining the firm, Şahin worked in the Turkish Competition Authority as a competition law expert and in a prominent competition boutique as a partner. He is the delegate of Turkey to ICC Competition Commission and reports to IBA Competition Law Newsletter.
