Pieter van den Berg, partner and lawyer at BUREN, heads the M&A practice of BUREN, with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing and insolvency. Pieter represents Dutch and foreign clients in various domestic and cross-border transactions and other matters.

He is a member of the Dutch Bar Association, the International Bar Association (IBA) and Insolad, the Association of Insolvency Lawyers. Pieter is a board member of several institutions and initiatives.

After obtaining a law degree (private and business law) at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Pieter completed specialisation courses in insolvency law (Insolad/Grotius) and Mergers and Acquisitions (formerly Corporate Transactions).
