Career

Mohammad is a corporate and commercial law Partner based in Kuwait. Prior to joining ASAR in 2006, Mohammad practiced law in both Egypt and Kuwait for more than 15 years.

Mohammad served as in-house legal counsel at one of Kuwait’s leading conglomerate companies and as an Acting General Counsel for a leading bank in Kuwait. He has extensive experience in corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.

Mohammad handles matters including the representation of local and foreign clients in establishment of Kuwaiti companies, employment, banking and finance, government projects, restructuring, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Mohammad’s practice languages are English and Arabic.

Professional Experience

Kuwait IWPP Az Zour North: Mohammad contributed to the ASAR team's thorough analysis of relevant laws and regulations affecting the proposed project structures for Kuwait IWPP Az Zour North. Umm Al Hayman Wastewater Project: Mohammad is part of the ASAR team representing the sponsors in Umm Al Hayman Wastewater project. Mohammad is assisting the sponsors with respect to all regulatory matters, incorporation of the consortium and project companies and reviewing the security agreements. Americana Acquisition: Representing an International pharmaceutical company in a compensation claim filed by its former agent in Kuwait. The client received a favorable judgement saving it more than KWD2-million.
