Ahmed Bahgat is an associate based in Kuwait and has been with the firm since August 2021. Ahmed has extensive experience in corporate and commercial matters, including construction, project finance, mergers and acquisitions and agency and distribution related matters.

Prior to joining ASAR, Ahmed worked as an in-house legal counsel to a leading Kuwaiti group in the construction sector for 9 years.

Professional Experience

Agency & Distributorship, Construction & Real Estate for New Palace of Justice Project: Delivered comprehensive legal support to the primary contractor for the New Palace of Justice Project. This included meticulous examination of tender documents, skillful negotiation of Bank Facility Agreements, Subcontract Agreements, Supplier Agreements, and other pertinent contracts. Mergers & Acquisitions, Doha West Power Generation and Distillation Plant:  Provided invaluable assistance to the local services provider, focusing on regulatory compliance and meticulous review of legal documentation. This included thorough examination of the Joint Venture Agreement with the foreign partner, as well as reviewing Subcontractor Agreements.
