Ahmed is a corporate and commercial law senior associate based in Kuwait and has been with the firm since January 2014. Ahmed has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law matters including the representation of local and foreign clients in franchise, establishment and restructuring, employment, construction and agency/distributorship-related matters.

Professional Experience:

Foreign Direct Investment Promotion Law: Ahmed was successfully involved in the licensing of a number of foreign companies in Kuwait under the Foreign Direct Investment Promotion Law including, IHS, Leonardo, Limark, McKinsey and Co.

Starting and Restructuring Business: Demonstrating adeptness in navigating Kuwait's business landscape, Ahmed was involved in the licensing and restructuring of s number of companies in Kuwait, including Sephora, Louis Vuitton Americana, Kering Group, Qualitynet, and Deliveroo.

Umm Al Hayman Wastewater Project: As a valued member of the ASAR team, Ahmed contributed extensively to the Umm Al Hayman Wastewater Project. His responsibilities encompassed providing comprehensive support to the project sponsors, particularly in regulatory compliance, consortium incorporation, and strategic structuring of both consortium and project entities.
