Foyen recruits CFO from Maersk Group Company, Svitzer

19 March, 2020

Foyen Advokatfirma has recruited Maersk Group Company, Svitzer's former CFO Karolina Kjörling as new CFO. Karolina will be responsible for developing Foyen's finance department and being part of the firm's management team.

Karolina comes to us from the private company Svitzer, which is part of the Maersk Group, where she has held the role of CFO with responsibility for Scandinavia and Germany for the past nine years. In her role as CFO, Karolina was also part of the company's management group for Scandinavia.

- Foyen is in an exciting growth phase where further development of the firm's finance department is an important part. I look forward to contributing with my experience and developing Foyen into an even more modern and sustainable workplace, says Karolina Kjörling.

Karolina has many years of experience working with finance related issues. Prior to her role as CFO at Svitzer, she worked as an auditor at PwC and before that as an auditor at Datarevision i Göteborg KB and AB Borås Accounting and Auditing.

- Karolina has substantial experience in finance with several years of work building financial operations from the ground up and developing them further. As Foyen has grown substantially in recent years, we need an experienced person who can take a comprehensive approach and further develop our finance department, which we recently moved to our office in Gothenburg. The recruitment of Karolina is part of our commitment to become Sweden's leading business law firm in project and technology-related law, says John Hane, Chairman of Foyen’s Board of Directors.

Karolina started the position at Foyen on the 3rd of March.
