Foyen recruits a top name within real estate
5 March, 2020
Foyen is strengthening the firm’s real estate law practice through the recruitment of real estate expert Rickard Zamuhl, formerly a partner at AG Advokat. Rickard, a member of the Swedish Bar Association, is joining Foyen as a partner on 1 March, according to Foyen’s press release.
Rickard Zamuhl is a member of the Swedish Bar Association, specialising in real estate law with a specific focus on commercial tenancy law. He regularly represents clients in disputes before rent tribunals and courts, as well as on issues which arise in connection with ownership, development, and management of real estate and commercial premises. Rickard has participated in a number of major projects, for example new construction and conversions in central Stockholm.
- By means of the recruitments, we further advance our positions and merge our expertise within construction law and real estate law with Rickard’s cutting-edge expertise on the law of commercial tenancy. Our recruitment of Rickard adds strength to our investment in becoming Sweden’s largest commercial law firm in the areas of project and technology-related law, says John Hane, Foyen’s Chairman.
Rickard’s real estate law career is substantial and includes, among other things, partnership at AG Advokat from 2008-2019. As a director and chairman of AG Advokat, he was an active contributor to the law firm’s growth trajectory.
- Foyen has a strong and unique position with a clear specialisation that spans the entire field of real estate. I look forward to working with the firm’s accomplished lawyers and further developing the firm together, says Rickard Zamuhl.
Rickard began working at Foyen on 1 March.
