Career
Antonio Siciliano mainly focuses in banking and finance transactions (including corporate lending, leveraged and acquisition finance), bond issues and other debt securities, securitisations, structured products and derivatives, advising, among others, leading national players, multinationals, banks and other financial institutions. In the area of capital markets, in which he is mainly active, Antonio took part in numerous bond issues, including high yield bonds, both domestic and international, on a stand-alone basis and under the EMTN/GMTN programme, in the context of public offers and private placement, as well as in mini-bond issuances by small-medium enterprises (including in the context of funding programmes launched by banking groups and institutional investors, such as the so-called basket bonds), project bonds and other debt instruments. Antonio has also been involved in the structuring of the first green bond issued by an Italian company and in the first ever sustainability-linked bonds in the world issued by entities operating in the infrastructural sector (airport management and toll road management), as well as in liability management transactions in the form of tender offers, exchange offers, intermediated exchange offers and consent solicitation.
