Junior Associate

Xenia is a Junior Associate in the Shipping Department (contentious) and works with Fichte & Co since April 2024.

Xenia obtained her LL.B from Durham University (UK), and spent a year abroad studying law, economics, and French in Fribourg University (Switzerland). She is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2021 and has rights of audience before all Cyprus courts.

Before joining Fichte & Co, Xenia worked directly under the litigation partner as an associate in a boutique civil law firm in Nicosia, specialising in commercial injunctions and corporate litigation. Xenia represented banks, construction groups, biomed MNCs, groups active in the UK food industry, and individuals in private wealth disputes, among others, in substantive hearings before the Cyprus District Courts.

Xenia’s role involves assisting the Shipping Partner in investigation of contentious matters, preparation of legal documents, legal research and document review in matters before international arbitration and ADR forums, and before the Federal UAE courts.
