Maquelin is an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial Group at Fichte & Co where she specializes in business structuring and re-structuring.

Her focus is providing strategic advice to businesses seeking entry into the UAE market and legal support to existing companies in the UAE in their contractual matters and tax related issues.

She has previous experience litigating indirect tax matters in India, where she also acted as an independent legal consultant to businesses on commercial and contractual matters. She further gained corporate experience within the region working within the in-house legal team of a UAE company.

While in Dubai Maquelin further followed her academical interest by lecturing on Company Law, Contract Law and Intellectual Property Law at a University in Dubai. She has contributed to various conferences, journals and publications in niche areas of law such as Law of Outer space, Competition Law, Technology Transfer etc.
