Senior Associate

Gabriel is a Senior Associate at the Firm’s corporate and commercial department.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Faculty of Law – University of Craiova, Romania, since 2013. Also, he holds a master’s degree in International Economics and Business Administration and has attended various legal and technical courses in prestigious educational institutions worldwide, such as: New York Finance Institute (M&A: Structuring the Deal); Yale University (Financial Markets); Harvard Law School (Contract Law: From Trust to Promise to Contract); The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (FinTech: Finance Industry Transformation and Regulation), obtaining the appropriate certificates attesting such.

Furthermore, Gabriel has a keen interest in legal and technical aspects of disruptive technologies such as Blockchain, FinTech, DeFi, Web3.

Gabriel has 10 years’ experience in the legal field. Before joining Fichte & Co., he practised law in Romania by being an in-house legal consultant for several years, afterwards being enrolled with the Bucharest Bar and working with a top-tier law firm. Over time, Gabriel has assisted both international and domestic clients from various industries, from blue chip multinational corporations to local companies, including leading e-commerce retailers, global managers of alternative investment products, global leaders in the field of internet services and many others, having experience in drafting a broad range of corporate & commercial matters and being involved in coordinating cross-border transactions, shareholding restructuring, preparing complex due diligence reports, legal opinions, and memoranda, drafting and reviewing all kind of bilingual contracts, terms and conditions and other significant documents used in the client’s business.
