Sebastian Zeeck has been a partner at Oppenhoff since 2021.Before joining Oppenhoff, he was a partner in a major international law firm for many years. Prior to that, Sebastian Zeeck was deputy head of the staff law department of a large, internationally renowned trading group and therefore has additional experience as an in-house counsel.He has passed examinations in insolvency law, commercial and corporate law, and tax law. For many years, he was a lecturer in the course element "International Insolvency Law" of the German Lawyers' Institute DAI. He is also a certified consultant for restructuring.

Sebsastian Zeeck is a partner at Oppenhoff. He provides comprehensive advice in the areas of restructuring and insolvency as well as corporate law, and he combines both areas. He specialises in restructuring and advising in times of crisis and insolvency on the one hand, and on complex corporate transactions and disputes on the other. His clients are companies and entrepreneurs as well as insolvency administrators.

Education

He studied law in Hamburg, Munich, Münster and Cambridge (UK) and wrote his dissertation on international avoidance law in insolvency under Prof. Dr. Dres. h.c. mult. Ulrich Drobnig, M.C.L. (Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law) in Hamburg. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation.
