Position

Robert Fischer-Sonnberg has been a lawyer at Oppenhoff since 2022.

Education

He studied law at Heidelberg University and Edinburgh University, where he gained his LL.M. in corporate law with focuses on corporate, banking, medical law, corporate finance and corporate governance. He also worked as a research assistant for many years in the field of corporate and capital markets law at leading national and international law firms. During his legal internship, Robert Fischer-Sonnberg worked at, among other things, the Civil Senate of the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court responsible for corporate matters and at the German Embassy in Hanoi, Vietnam. Before transferring to Oppenhoff, he was a lawyer in the corporate, capital markets and M&A department at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
