Career

He embarked upon his professional career as a civil litigation lawyer in Brindisi in 1980. In 1992, he moved to Milan, where he worked in a boutique law firm, specializing in corporate and bankruptcy law. In 1994, he underwent an intense training period in addition to working with various scientific journals.
In 2001, he founded the Sanzo Law Firm, which, in 2011, became a professional association, under the name SeAS Sanzo e Associati Law Firm. In 2018, he joined and became the president of LCA Law Firm.

 

He provides assistance and consultancy and acts as defense counsel both in and out-of-court in the field of civil law in general and, in particular, in business and bankruptcy law. In the latter sector, he also acts as liquidator, legal commissioner and liquidating commissioner in insolvency proceedings of major national and international significance upon the appointment of various Italian courts.

He is also particularly active in the teaching sector, especially on the subject of corporate crises and the preparation of trainees for the exams to qualify for the practice of law profession.
He works with all the leading Italian publishing houses with which he has published various articles, both individually and collectively, as co-author and as curator. He is a member of the scientific management committee of the portal ilSocietario.it and manages the series “Il Nuovo Diritto Fallimentare” (“New Bankruptcy Law”) with Mr. Mauro Vitiello both being published by Giuffrè. He is also one of the founders of the portal ilFallimentarista.it.
Since 1998, he has been a lecturer of civil and business law at the vocational training school JLS-Just Legal Services. He has published many commentaries to court decisions and articles in various law journals (Giurisprudenza Italiana, Corriere Giuridico, Il Fallimento, etc.).

He has been the secretary of various boards of directors of listed and non-listed companies

In July 2018, he was appointed by the Ministry for Justice as member of a Study Commission for civil law reform.
