Nicolas' expertise relates to corporate law issues (creation and structuring of companies, transfer of companies, equity transactions, internal restructuring and spin-offs, acquisitions or disposals of companies or activities, agreements between shareholders or with investors) and defends companies in litigation and pre-litigation (directors' liability, minority shareholders' litigation, post-sale litigation and implementation of liability guarantees, insolvency proceedings).

He also has a recognized expertise in advising and litigating non-commercial groups (associations, foundations, endowments, professional unions).

Nicolas Blanchenay worked as in-house Counsel in the Transportation branch of ALSTOM in the United States (1998-2000).

He joined  Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP in Paris (2000-2007) and the French boutique 28 octobre as Of Counsel, before joining PBA LEGAL.

He is qualified in New York in 1999 and in Paris in 2001.
