Paola is a corporate lawyer specializing in corporate, commercial and labor law. She has also extensive experience in liquidation practice, bankruptcy law and representing corporate clients in dept recovery proceedings.

Prior to joining EY Law in 2018, Pagona-Maria has worked for a top-tier Athens-based law firm, handling a diverse portfolio of corporate, commercial, banking and employment law cases and has serviced a wide range of corporate clients, entrusted with handling all their litigation files and day-to-day business.

Her working languages are English and French.

She is a lawyer before Appeal Court, and member of the Athens Bar Association since July 2009.

Having graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a degree in Law, Pagona-Maria holds an M.Sc. from the University of Piraeus, Department of Banking & Financial Management, titled “Financial and Institutional framework of money and capital markets”.
