AVELLUM Promotes New Partner and
Counsels
AVELLUM is pleased to
announce senior promotions.
Yuriy Nechayev was promoted to a partner at
Corporate/M&A practice. In his new role, Yuriy will continue focusing on
M&A, corporate law, and private equity.
Joining AVELLUM as an
associate in its founding year in 2009, Yuriy managed to become the first
AVELLUM employee who climbed the entire career ladder to eventually become a
partner.
Yuriy regularly advises the
leading international and Ukrainian companies on various aspects of their
business activities in Ukraine. His experience includes advising clients on a
wide range of major cross-border and local corporate transactions, and on
various commercial law matters.
Yuriy obtained his Master of
International Law degree from the Institute of International Relations of the
Kyiv International University in 2007.
Taras Dmukhovskyy was promoted to a counsel at AVELLUM’s
finance practice. Taras has over seven years of experience in advising
international and Ukrainian clients on a broad range of cross-border and
domestic financial transactions: lending, debt and equity markets transactions,
and restructurings.
During recent years, Taras
was a lead associate in many ground-breaking and high-profile capital market
deals, including new money issues and debt restructurings.
Taras obtained his Master of
Laws degree from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in 2009, followed by
LL. M. in Financial Services Law from Chicago-Kent College of Law, USA in 2010.
Maksym Maksymenko was promoted to a counsel at AVELLUM’s
real estate and land law practice. Maksym has over ten years of experience in
providing full range of legal services to international and Ukrainian clients.
He primarily focuses on land
and agriculture legal matters, construction and related financing, real estate
development, and investment. Maksym also regularly advises clients on renewable
energy projects.
Maksym obtained his Master of Laws degree from the Law
Department of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University in 2010, followed by
PhD in 2013. He is admitted to the Bar since 2015.
