Valérie Lafarge-Sarkozy specialises in business litigation and pre-litigation. She advises French and international clients including industrial groups, insurance companies and banks. Her particular areas of expertise are complex or collective litigation, class actions, emerging risks (cyber risks), shareholder disputes, breach of contract and crisis management, often linked to liability law, whether in connection with industrial claims, product liability, directors‘ and officers’ liability or banking claims.

Ms. Lafarge-Sarkozy is an Expert Member of the Club des Juristes and General Secretary of the Club’s Commission on Cyber Security. “Insuring Cyber Risk”, the first volume of the Commission’s report, was published in January 2018. The second volume “Criminal law to the test of cyber-attacks” has been published in April 2021. She also teaches within the Master 2 – International Business Law program at the Université Paris Sud and frequently intervenes in the “Cercle des Administrateurs” (association of administrators).
