Position

Mergers, acquisitions, corporate and commercial law: Lancelot Clément de Cléty advises and supports clients in a wide range of cases. He does so as a decisive dealmaker, with a strong academic background.

Lancelot insists on a very people-oriented approach, always with a view to an appropriate, realistic outcome. His goal? To help clients find solutions which they may not have thought of in the first place, but which will speed up their case. According to Lancelot, the intensive client contact, the four eyes principle and the constant aim for quality are the keys to Laurius’ success.

Career

Lancelot joined Laurius in 2017 and since then he has completed various transactions and cases. From large-scale M&A cases, to legal advice in high-level corporate matters. In addition, he contributed to the publication of ‘Q&A guide to investing in Belgium’ (Thomson Reuters Practical law, April 2019).

In addition to obtaining a master’s degree in law and European law, Lancelot participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, the renowned pleading competition in the field of international commercial law.
