David Ryckaert is a senior partner at Laurius and is internationally renowned for his extensive knowledge of M&A, venture capital and corporate litigation. As one of the leaders of the corporate team, he advises family shareholders, industrial buyers and private equity funds on transactions in Belgium and abroad.

David has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2000. Since then, he has worked on various cases for an impressive professional clientele. Mergers and acquisitions, corporate litigation, leveraged buy-outs, … Also in the context of venture capital, David guides founders and investors from successful start-up to exit.

He holds a bachelor in law from the Facultés Universitaires Notre Dame de la Paix in Namur (Belgium), a master in law from the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium) and a master in business administration from the Solvay Business School (Brussels), with a special focus on corporate finance.

David is also a lecturer at Campus Kulak where he shares his passion and know-how in the course ‘Acquisition/Leaving a Company’.
