António Rocha Alves is a Partner in the Banking and Finance and Capital Markets practices. With more than two decades of experience, he is a transactional and regulatory lawyer who provides local and cross-border legal advice to corporate clients, credit and financial institutions, investment funds and insurance companies across the full range of banking and finance transactions, including derivatives and other financial contracts. He also has experience acting for lenders, corporates and private equity funds in connection with judicial and extrajudicial multi-creditor workouts. He was a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon between 1997 and 2011, teaching Contract, Tort, Property, Commercial and Companies Law.
