Career

Dr. Göksu focuses on international banking transactions, syndicated loans, development, financing and operation of energy and infrastructure projects. More specifically, he represents energy companies and project developers, as well as multilateral agencies, commercial banks and equity investors, in connection with upstream oil and gas projects, cross border oil and gas pipe-lines, wind, hydro, solar and geothermal energy production projects and energy infrastructure projects, construction and operation of nuclear power plants in Turkey, Middle East. His practice also involves advising project companies on potential risks and mitigant measures with regard to the project financing.

Having legal experience of over fifteen years, Dr. Göksu had also been heavily involved in corporate and commercial law, international commercial arbitration, international banking law, energy law, privatizations, construction and real estate law. He provided legal consultancy on all sorts of legal issues, advising on the merits of Turkish Law to high profile local and international corporate clients, reporting the legal risks in the respective areas of law and negotiating, drafting, reviewing and executing complex legal documents. Dr. Göksu has also a well-established practice in M&A, law of corporations and corporate governance matters. He regularly represents his clients in their domestic and cross-border transactions involving complex shareholder disputes.
