Career

Amel Al Aseeri joined Zeenat Al Mansoori & Associates in 2005 and is a Partner at the firm. She heads the Corporate and Commercial team with an air of disarmingly quiet confidence. Amel is a Licensed Attorney admitted in front of all courts in the Kingdom of Bahrain up to the Cassation Court and the Constitutional Court. She also has arbitration experience and is a Fellow (FCIArb) with the prestigious Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

She routinely advises local and multinational clients operating in diverse industries. Her practice spans a wide range of areas including corporate structuring, shareholders’ agreements, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, financing and IP. Her practice also encompasses the real estate sector, including construction, real estate development, real estate management, real estate finance and acquisitions, disposals, and commercial and residential leasing. She is recommended in Legal 500 for her Commercial, Corporate and M&A work and is recognised as a Top Tier Lawyer in the Corporate and Finance and in the Dispute Resolution fields by Chambers Global.

Amel is a member of the Pro-Bono Lawyers Network Bahrain and offers her time and legal support to multiple NGOs and charities.

Amel obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with honors from Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK and her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC) from the College of Law, London, UK. She was awarded a Fellowship in the United Nations Public and Private International Law Program in 2008.
