Position

Vera is a lawyer with extensive experience in construction and procurement law and is involved in many project and area development and state aid issues. Vera is a member of the Real Estate sector team, with a special focus on housing associations, and is also part of the Education sector team. Vera studied Constitutional and Administrative Law at the University of Amsterdam with a special focus on planning and environmental law. Because of her administrative law background, Vera regularly advises on issues at the interface between public and private law. Among other things, Vera is a fount of knowledge on issues relating to the recent Didam judgment, in which the Supreme Court ruled that public authorities must sell land in a transparent manner that gives all interested parties the opportunity to bid.

Vera has been practising law at Boels Zanders since 2017. In 2019, she successfully completed the specialisation programme in Procurement Law.
