Senior Associate

Nicosia is admitted to the Cayman Islands bar.  She is a Senior Associate in the Cayman Islands office of Baker & Partners. Nicosia’s practice includes commercial and civil litigation, dispute resolution, fraud and asset tracing, contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring, and private client work.

Prior to joining Baker & Partners in September 2021, Nicosia gained extensive experience working at another leading law firm in the Cayman Islands and Hong Kong. Nicosia has a strong knowledge of Section 238 petitions on the dissenting shareholder side. Her section 238 experience include working on behalf of dissenters in Qunar Cayman Islands Limited, KongZhong Corporation Limited, and Zhaopin Limited.

Nicosia is a member of the Cayman Islands Legal Practitioners Association and the Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association (Cayman) Limited (RISA).  Nicosia is also a member of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) and a member of the Communities sub-committee for the Cayman Islands IWIRC network.
