Flora’s areas of expertise are employment law, litigation and dispute resolution in commercial law matters.

She advises and represents small and medium companies, group companies and individuals in Switzerland and abroad in all matters of employment law, in particular regarding the drafting of employment contracts and regulations, the termination of employment relationships, discrimination and equality law issues and personnel leasing. Flora leads the practice group employment law of the Basel bar association. She is lecturer at the University of Basel as well as editorial member of «legalis brief, service employment law». She gives lectures and publishes in her areas of expertise.

From 2019-2018, she worked as a research assistant, tutor and lecturer at the University of Basel, in 2014-2016 as a legal trainee at the Civil District Court of Basel-Landschaft East, at a commercial law firm in Basel, and at the Criminal Court of Basel-Stadt and from 2018-2020 as an attorney in a leading commercial law firm.

She completed her law studies at the University of Basel (MLaw 2014). She was admitted to the bar in 2016. In 2019, she obtained her Ph.D. (Dr. iur.) with a thesis in the fields of civil procedure and contract law.
