Career

Olga has almost 20 years of experience. She specializes in international trade, foreign investment, energy and natural resources, public procurement, private international law, public international law, commercial law, international commercial and investment arbitration.

She participated in more than 230 arbitration proceedings under the Rules of International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and also represented the State’s interests in more than 50 disputes that were considered under the ICSID, ICC, SCC, VIAC, PCA and UNCITRAL Rules.

Olga is a lecturer and author of professional publications in the field of international law and dispute resolution, one of the creators of the concept of reforming international commercial arbitration in Ukraine, as well as legal and regulatory framework for international investment arbitration. Her professional experience includes protecting the interests of Ukraine in international commercial and investment arbitrations and foreign jurisdictional bodies. She participated in negotiating key agreements with foreign investors in the field of hydrocarbon production, attracting EBRD funding, as well as interstate agreements on the promotion and mutual protection of investments and free trade. Acted as a member of the governmental delegations to negotiate bilateral agreements on promotion and mutual protection of investments. Olga was a Ukraine’s delegate to the UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and its Working Groups. Advocates for equal representation of women in arbitration. Represented the ICAC as member of the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge.
