Career
Dr. Riki Goobes completed her postdoctoral studies at the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington. In her postdoctoral studies, she investigated the structure of biomolecules adsorbed onto synthetic and natural surfaces using various biophysical techniques, such as nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Riki is experienced in all areas of chemistry, including organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, chemical physics, chemistry of nucleic acids, surface chemistry, biomineralization, biotechnology, nanotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology, protein synthesis, isolation, and structure elucidation of natural products.
