Position

Counsel.

Marta focuses on energy law (oil & gas, electricity, and renewable energy), as well as environmental protection and sustainable development, leading this workstream at Asters.

She has over a decade of experience in handling a wide range of energy projects in general and renewable energy, encompassing wind, solar, biogas, conventional generation etc. Marta has also been involved in numerous due diligence cases for various energy assets, M&A transactions, including "greenfield" and turnkey acquisitions.

Marta advises companies on matters related to the sustainable energy transition, the European Green Deal, aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and projects in the field of hydrogen and other alternative fuels. She also provides guidance on environmental protection issues and ESG initiatives.

Marta gained extensive international experience during her 14-month secondment at a leading Irish law firm. There, she advised numerous leading energy companies on the development of wind power plants, assisted state energy companies with service agreements and power purchase agreements, and addressed matters related to the applicability of EU laws.
