Position

Annett Rombach, LL.M. (University of Miami), Partner, advises in the multifaceted areas of Sports law and in international commercial and sports arbitration matters. She has special expertise as counsel in corporate and commercial arbitration proceedings conducted under the auspices of all leading arbitration institutions. Mrs. Rombach regularly serves as arbitrator in national and international sports and commercial arbitration proceedings. As a sole arbitrator at the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT) in Geneva, she has resolved more than 100 proceedings relating to contractual and employment law disputes between basketball clubs, players and agents to date. Since January 2018, she is also an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne. Furthermore, Mrs. Rombach is appointed regularly as arbitrator in commercial arbitrations, and she serves as permanent arbitrator at the Court of Innovative Arbitration (COIA) in Zurich.
