Stan graduated in 1992 from the University of Leiden. Stan started at De Brauw Blacktone Westbroek in Rotterdam, before joining Ploum Lodder Princen in 2001. He was appointed as a civil law notary in 2003. Stan is former Chairman of the Rotterdam department of the Royal Notary Association (KNB) and holds several secondary posts in the Rotterdam area, Netherlands.
