Career
Walter joined the firm in 1986 and became a partner in 1993.
After 30 years as a partner, Walter is attached to Tiberghien as Senior Counsel since 2024. His practice focuses on (inter)national tax law in situations where estate planning and complex corporate reorganizations come together.
On top of his knowledge of the Belgian tax law, Walter has a special affinity with (amongst others) the tax systems of The Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg.
