Career
Kristýna Živanská is a Senior Associate at BBH with extensive transactional and legal advisory experience in both Czech law and law of England & Wales, also qualified in New York State. Kristýna focuses on areas of Banking & Finance, M&A and Corporate Law for a great variety of international as well as domestic clients with a particular specialism in transactions with complex cross-border elements and anomalous legal issues, requiring unique and innovative client-tailored solutions. Kristýna has participated in numerous financing transactions exceeding amounts of hundreds of millions of euros, representing both lenders and borrowers, in particular ‘market-determinative’ businesses and leading banks. Kristýna has been further engaged in a number of noteworthy cross-border acquisition transactions, such as advising the creators of the award-winning virtual-reality game Beat Saber with the sale of the Czech company Beat Games, s.r.o. to Facebook Technologies, LLC, and assisted clients with structuring and incorporation of various one-and-only joint ventures. Kristýna collaborates closely with international law firms based, e.g. in London or Germany, in connection with transactions for international clients, having a far-reaching impact on various European and international markets. Having been seconded to, and worked closely with, Sberbank CZ, a.s. on syndicated deals and complex regulatory matters, Kristyna has strengthen relationships, and struck close collaboration, with Sberbank CZ, a.s.
