Position

Partner. Alexandre Jotterand specializes in the management of data and technology.  He assists companies, innovative startups, and healthcare & life science providers navigate the complexity of these fields, both from a legal, regulatory and management perspectives. His fields of expertise include IT, advanced & frontier technologies (AI, blockchain, smart HealthTech, etc.), privacy/data protection laws (Swiss law and GDPR), cybersecurity, life sciences, intellectual property/open source, and commercial transactions. He has deep knowledge of the healthcare, life science/med tech industries, and of the public sector industry.

Career

Alexandre Jotterand holds both the CIPP/E and CIPM certifications, which are the leading certifications for GDPR compliance and the management of privacy programs. He is admitted to practice in front of all Swiss courts. He currently serves on the Board of the Swiss Data Protection Officers Association (ASDPO), contributing to data protection and privacy initiatives in Switzerland. He is also a member of the Digital Trust Expert Group of the Swiss Digital Initiative. He regularly publishes scientific papers and blog posts, lectures and speaks at events on his fields of expertise.
