Change in Leadership in the Kochański & Partners Capital Markets Practice
The Warsaw Stock Exchange attracts ever more foreign investors, with their share in WSE turnover reaching 58% in H1 2020. In response to these accelerating business trends, Kochański & Partners is reinforcing its Capital Markets Practice, with the appointment from October of Jarosław Grzywiński, Partner, former President of the WSE Management Board, as its new leader.
Jarosław specialises in capital markets, commercial companies, and investment projects. He has advised foreign and domestic investors, banks and financial institutions on, inter alia, regulatory aspects relating to the capital market and the securing of financing for investment projects in various jurisdictions. Jarosław has many years of experience in preparing prospectuses and advising on IPO processes in the Polish market and on the London, Frankfurt and Hong Kong stock exchanges, in addition to advising on bond issues, the restructuring of financial liabilities and investments in commercial real estate.
Prior to joining Kochański & Partners, Jarosław served as President of the WSE Management Board and Member of the Board of Directors of AQUIS Exchange, London – one of the largest equity trading platforms in the world, President of the Supervisory Boards of Towarowa Giełda Energii S.A. and Bondspot S.A., Vice-President of the WSE Supervisory Board, and Chairman of the WSE Regulation & Corporate Governance Committee. As a notable expert, he is involved in the work of the Corporate Governance Reform Committee at the Ministry of State Assets.
Jarosław is an attorney at law at the Warsaw Bar Association, holding post-graduate degrees in Law from the University of Bayreuth, Germany, and the University of Oxford, UK.
