Carlo Cugnasca is a chartered accountant and independent auditor. He has extensive experience in fiscal matters and provides assistance to a number of companies and private equity funds in Italian and international extraordinary transactions concerning the purchase of companies and corporate groups, as well as in the reorganization of corporate groups and debt restructuring procedures. Furthermore, he specializes in financial and real estate tax regulations, tax regulations in the energy sector, tax litigation, trust companies, fiscal and estate planning, and also deals with issues relating to the implementation of international accounting standards. Prior to joining Grimaldi Studio Legale, Mr. Cugnasca worked for the firm of Professor Dezzani in Turin and, prior to that, Ernst & Young.
