Career

Bernardo Giorgo Mattarella is tenured professor in administrative law at the Department of Law – “Luiss Guido Carli” University in Rome and Vice-editor-in-chief and editor-in-chief of Rivista trimestrale di diritto pubblico (quarterly magazine of public law). Member of the Scientific Committee of several law magazines. He is a partner and member of  scientific committees in several associations and cultural foundations.�� He has been tasked with carrying out studies at the Italian Constitutional Court (1996-1997 and 2007-2009). Member of several ministerial study commissions. He has participated in parliamentary hearings on several issues pertaining to public law. Head of the legal office at the Ministry of Education, University and Research (2013-2014) and the Ministry of simplification and public administration (2014-2016). Speaker at over 300 scientific conferences in Italy and abroad.
