Tara advises on a range of employment issues, both contentious and non-contentious. Tara is also an employee data protection specialist and has been advising companies on the upcoming GDPR (coming into force in May 2018).

Contentious work includes Employment Tribunal claims such as unfair dismissal, age discrimination and disability discrimination and High Court claims including breach of contract claims and interim injunction applications. Non-contentious work includes drafting employment contracts, secondment agreements, advising on corporate transactions (often involving the application of TUPE) and negotiating employee terminations.

Tara spent 2.5 years in the firm’s office in Hong Kong and became Hong Kong qualified. Tara is also a solicitor advocate and can appear in the High Court and above.
