Anna has a strong reputation for providing business critical employment law advice dealing with the most commercially and legally challenging situations. Anna's practice covers the full ambit of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues.

Anna has particular expertise in the financial services sector, where she has advised numerous banks and other financial services institutions on regulatory personnel issues. She is an integral member of the firm's cross-practice financial services responsibility and accountability advisory team advising Banks on the introduction of the Senior Manager and Certification Regime in March 2016 and now advising other FCA regulated financial institutions on the extension of this Regime which is scheduled for 2018. She also gives employment advice to financial institutions on the contentious departures of senior approved persons/senior managers.

Anna's contentious experience includes advising on Employment Tribunal claims for unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and discrimination and High Court claims for wrongful dismissal and breach of contract. Her experience in non-contentious and advisory work includes advising on large scale restructurings and redundancy exercises (often involving multiple jurisdictions), share and business acquisitions and outsourcings, drafting employment contracts, staff handbooks and secondment agreements, advising on senior executive appointments, terminations and restrictive covenants.

Anna spent six months on secondment at a large US headquartered bank working within their in-house employment legal team and two months on a part-time secondment to the London branch of a Brazilian bank working as sole employment legal counsel within their HR function.
