Position

Paul is a Partner and co-head of the Herbert Smith Freehills London Remuneration & Incentives team, specialising in remuneration and employee incentives.

Career

Paul was an associate at a leading London law firm before joining Herbert Smith Freehills as a partner in 2000.

Paul helps clients with executive remuneration and incentives matters. He has established a wide range of cash-based and share-based incentive plans for listed and private companies in the UK and globally. Paul advises clients on the incentive plan aspects of many significant transactions, including takeovers, IPOs, rights issues, demergers and schemes of arrangement.

Paul also works with clients on the remuneration aspects of executive recruitments and terminations.

Paul is the Consulting Editor of Employee Share Plans: International Legal and Tax Issues published by Global law and Business.
