Laurent, a lawyer primarily specializing in mergers and acquisitions, commercial law, and distressed business law, focuses on the food and pharmaceutical industries.

He has represented the interests of numerous large companies as well as professional associations in these sectors in France, notably working with national and EU authorities. In coordination with our North American correspondants, he represents European companies wishing to enter the U.S. market. Laurent also assists Canadian and American companies seeking to establish themselves in Europe.

Laurent has been a member of the CIRL (Independent Chamber for Dispute Resolution by Mandatory Third-Party Decision Maker), a Belgian dispute resolution organization, since 2023.

Laurent began his career as a cultural attaché in West Africa. Having practiced law since 1989, he started in London at the firm Stephenson & Harwood before joining the firm in 1994.
