Career

I trained at national law firm, Irwin Mitchell Solicitors, qualifying in September 2002. I specialised in clinical negligence from the outset, which was my intention from the start of my legal career, having trained as a physiotherapist before law. I became an associate solicitor at Irwin Mitchell and then moved to head up the clinical negligence department at Alsters Kelley Solicitors in Leamington. I then joined the Medical Accident Group at Harrison Clark Rickerbys in 2014, becoming a partner shortly after joining. I currently assist in the running of the clinical negligence team with the two other partners.

Ally Taft leads a ‘helpful, collaborative, and proactive’ department at Harrison Clark Rickerbys. Areas of expertise span birth and catastrophic injuries, spinal, stroke and brain injury cases, as well as GP negligence claims. The team is well-placed to also handle claims involving orthopaedics, gynaecological, and fatal accidents (including inquests).  Peter Savage ’s particular interests include brain and spinal injury cases, fatal accident cases, and cases involving catastrophic injuries to children. Worcester-based Elizabeth Wickson, and Amrit Dhaliwal who is at the Birmingham office, are both well-regarded.
