Trained in London and qualified in 1984.

Previously a Panel Receiver,  I have specialised in advising Older and Vulnerable people and their families during my working life.  I advise on the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and all of the legal and practical issues which arise from it in relation to Property & Finance and  Health & Welfare, and the related applications to the Court of Protection.  Members of my team also have expertise in these areas and in relation of care and care fees funding concerns.  I and my team focus on providing practical advice to people and their families,  and work closely with local authorities in relation to financial abuse.  I also advise on Personal Injury trusts and edit relevant sections of notes and publications for Lexis Nexis.  I provide training for Care Providers and IFA's.
