Position

Ben is a Partner in the London office and works on Company & Commercial, Sport, Private Wealth, Charities and Trust matters.

Career

Since 2010 Ben has been on the Committee for Kent County Cricket Club. In 2014, he was appointed an independent director of CPSA, The Clay Pigeon Shooting Association, the national governing body for clay target shooting, and a director of BUCS, British Universities and Colleges Sport. He is a Trustee of British Blind Sport. He is also a Trustee of Regain, the Trust for Sports Tetraplegics; The Canterbury Cathedral Trust; The Mountbatten Memorial Trust; a National Trustee of L'Arche UK (supporting those with mental impairment) and Chairman of The L'Arche Development Council. He is a governor of Wellesley House School and the King's School Canterbury. He is Chairman of Wye Future Group (Environmental). He is a trustee of the Creative Dimension Trust and a trustee of the Arts Society, a national charity. He is a Finance Committee Member of The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. In 2015, he was appointed Deputy Lieutenant for Kent. In July 2015 Ben became a Partner of Hewitson Moorhead, now known as Hewitsons LLP
