Maria Moura Fonseca has been an integral part of VCA since May 2016. Her journey in law began with a traineeship at Sousa de Macedo Advogados between 2007 and 2010, where she received general training covering various areas, including civil law, family law and corporate law. This was followed by a six-year position at ATPR, where she deepened her knowledge of civil litigation and insolvency. At VCA, she took over the coordination of the Credit Recovery and Collection Litigation Department between 2018 and 2021. Since then, she has not only continued to work in areas such as civil and executive law, but has also expanded her field of expertise to labour law. She is particularly well versed in managing mass litigation and issues related to breach of contract, consumer affairs and insolvency. Currently, Maria is working on nationality and foreigners’ law cases.
