Position

Howrey is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Regulatory & Government Advisory Practice. Howrey advises public and private sector clients on a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters, including developing legislative frameworks across multiple industries. He also has experience drafting legislation for government clients.

In addition to his regulatory work, Howrey represents clients in complex and high-value litigation, with expertise in Islamic and conventional banking disputes, bankruptcy, and other litigation and enforcement proceedings.

Before joining Hadef & Partners, Howrey was part of a magic circle law firm in the UK, where he advised on corporate law, commercial transactions, cross-border disputes, compliance, tax, and regulatory investigations.

Howrey is admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Honours) and a Legal Practice Course (LPC) qualification from the University of Huddersfield, as well as an LLM in Legal and Political Philosophy from the University of York.

Howrey is fluent in Arabic and English.
